ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I've been telling stories for as long as I can remember. After two decades I've had experience in writing novels, short stories, flash fiction, plays, ten-minute plays, short films, and even radio scripts. Sometimes, in between writing projects, I even get to act. Curiosity has driven me in all these pursuits, my guiding star, my Polaris, my red velvet cake with buttercream frosting on top. 

 

My sister says my superpower is to take a five-minute chat and turn it into a two-hour conversation. My first boss compared me to the mythological figure, Mímir (without explanation so I had to look it up). Neil Gaiman wrote, “Mímir, the wise one, the guardian of memory, knows many things. His well is wisdom, and when the world was young he would drink every morning from the well…” So, y’know, no pressure. 

 

Recently I was asked, “Where do you see yourself? Where do you want to be? What do you want to be doing?” The easy answer is "I want to write,” so I'll go one further. Stories matter. They got me (and many others) this far, and I believe that if we trust them, listen to them, and keep putting them out into the world, they’ll get us further than we thought we could go.
