So for reasons beyond my knowledge, I have been ... lethargic. Dunno if it's a holdover from the medication I was told to stop, or if its stress, or ... what. Maybe it's just a phase. But I slept for almost 10 hours and that is not normal for me. But hey, it's probably nothing.
TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)
1. I am grateful for my wife. After my meeting with the dietician on Wednesday we hopped over to Walmart and bought a Mediterranean Cookbook. Last night we tried one of the recipes and it was good! A little unexpectedly spicy, but still good. I'm excited to try more.
2. I am grateful for experimenting with a Bullet Journal for my Campaign Prep. I've enjoyed the process so much I went out and ordered another journal to use as just a straight-up planner. No intention of abandoning the blog though. I think it is a better place to store my thoughts and vibes.
ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY
It was a simple day spent with my wife just puttering about being cute and boring. We went for a walk and watched some shows and chatted for most of the day. About what I no longer remember. I should start a journal or something.
ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY
I'd really just like to get some writing done today. On our walk yesterday Cassie and I really broke down each of the next five chapters to figure out what makes them tick. It is literally anxiety-inducing to declare how much ass it'll kick because I might be wrong but I think it'll kick ass.
WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND
Odd bit of Shane trivia. Yesterday was the 15th anniversary of my getting adopted. I went from an only child, to homeless, to adopted with 8 older siblings all in one day. Pretty impressive for a 16-year-old with anxiety and depression.
