So my car battery died again last night. I did some googling and a common reason for '06 Mustangs to die fast is the radio. So guess who gets to figure out how to tear that sucker out? I can't wait to experience how much more complicated this will be than it should be.
TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)
1. I'm grateful for my old mechanic, who still offers me advice, even though he quit working at the shop where we met. He's a good dude; likes Critical Role and D&D and the Witcher. He might not have always found what was wrong but I always enjoyed working with him.
2. I am so tired. Yesterday burned all my spoons. But when my car died, my wife got permission to run me and my battery over to AutoZone for a charge. I'm grateful she came running to save my ass. Thanks to her I finally got my meds.
ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY
<Cackles with manic laughter> Oh, so many things it's just downright hard to choose one thing that went well. I bought a ps4 controller. I wanted to play Elden Ring and I needed a new ps4 controller and it was a non-essential purchase but fuck it I wanted to play Elden Ring.
ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY
<screams> I ... don't ... know. I have more boxes of papers to sort. I have stuff to write. I have two games to prep and I haven't looked at my LinkedIn yet today so there might be a new job posting to apply to. Can I just ... play Elden Ring and watch Star Trek?
WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND
Methinks I might be a little hangry. It gets worse when I don't sleep well. Had I written this blog after breakfast instead of before it's very possible the tone would be wildly different. Sleep, food, and exercise are so influential to moods. It's just ... wild.
