So once again, the cat was a terror and I got woken up *a lot.* I also woke up to an overzealous player in my upcoming Numenera game declining my initial offer of help and then misunderstanding the rules so bad they failed to make a character. It's a real 'Count to 10' moment.
TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)
1. This is one of those mornings where I find myself stumped for something or someone to be grateful for. I'm exhausted and frustrated and I suppose I am grateful for my therapist for giving me any of the tools I currently have to deal with terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days.
2. Eh, fuck it. I'm grateful for James Gunn. Weird, strange, creative man that he is. Why not. It's my blog and I love the Guardians movies. I'm grateful that a guy like Gunn can leave his edgelord past behind because I feel like I went on the same journey in my 20s.
ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY
Yesterday was not a great day but I suppose I made good headway on sorting through old boxes of papers and throwing away a lot of unneeded things. Very Marie Kondo of me if I do say so myself.

I'm taking Cassie on a date for Valentines. We're seeing the new Avatar. No idea what to expect. Hope we enjoy it? I barely remember the first one and I didn't really pay attention to the advertising for this new one. Boy I really don't sound that excited, do I.
WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND
Folks, I'm just so tired. I'm tired of writing, and the job hunt, and trying to run games, and ... just everything. I ... don't know what else to do. I'm miserable where I'm at, emotionally and physically and mentally and I just want a do-over. A fresh start. I don't know.
