Slow morning to get rolling (this probably won't go up until the afternoon, which is in ... 9 minutes lol). We got over a foot of snow last night, so I've had the utmost pleasure of unburying my wife's mustang. Twice. With a shovel. Good times lol
TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)
1. Hell. I'm grateful for my shovel. No idea what we'd have done if I didn't have it. Mustangs, amirite? It is a genuine relief to have the right tool for the job that allows you to get back to your day. Seriously debating going for my daily walk in the 18°F weather.
2. My therapist helped me plan out my Valentine's day. Which feels lame to say out loud. But hey, asking for help, getting help, and Cassie having a good day are all good in my book. So I'm grateful for my therapist. Once again, lol
ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY
I made Cassie her favorite food (eggs), cleared a spot on the bed, and watched Star Trek. It was low-key but I still think it was a successful Valentine's Day celebration.
ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY
I have another job posting that caught my eye so I think I'm going to try and get something submitted to them sooner rather than later lol. I was on the fence but their Glass Door ratings are quite good.
WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND
Shoveling snow really takes it out of you. That means I don't really have a lot on my mind. My brain lacks traction, much like my wife's Mustang. Only one thing to do, put on my Supernatural Playlist and rock out to Kansas, Boston, and other bands named for geographical locations.
