Today started early with a drive to the next town over to meet with my psychiatrist. He recommended upping my antidepressant dose. So ... yeah, maybe that'll help. Be nice if it did. That said, the real issue is probably the unemployment, and no pill gonna solve that.

TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)

1. I'm grateful for my psychiatrist listening to me. I don't love always talking about my unsuccessful job hunt but still, meeting with him has been helpful and I appreciate it.

2. I am grateful for, man, I'm grateful for Five Guys. I love their burgers. They are so good. Too good. God, I miss eating junk food. No regrets, improving my diet has improved my life but no denying the goblin in my brain desires chips, soda, pizza, and french fries.

ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY

Yesterday, I got through the D&D game, and honestly, after posting my blog, I did end up clicking into the game and having a pretty good time. Fortunately, my character got to hang out in the background and just enjoy the bards' shenanigans. We really proved Hanlon's razor.

ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY

The critical action item for the day was to drive to the next town over to see my psychiatrist and then hit the bank on the way back to cash a check. I'd like to get in some yoga (burn off the Five Guys calories). Otherwise, I think I've hit my quota for critical action items.

WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND

Um, so my psychiatrist's office is half a mile from a bookstore. Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered I ... bought more books than I should have. Do I have regrets? Of course not. I have books.

All best,
