It's my wife's birthday! And I'm really tired. And she liked her presents! And I'm out of spoons. It's been rough, of late, just a bit. I keep falling behind on the blog, and on chores. It's not the end of the world or anything. I can always pick up where I left off, but ... damn.

TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)

1. I am grateful for my wife. Happy Birthday to Cassie. She's wonderful. And pretty. And she likes me. Good times all around lol. I am so fucking tired, guys.

2. I am grateful for Critical Role. I fell several months behind and Cassie and I are trying to catch up. The emotions, they hurt me. I haven't been watching from the beginning but I have been watching since 2018. Cheers to the cast and my fellow Critters.

ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY

I played D&D and I got the killing blow on a death knight. The Rogue/Warlock-with-a-familiar multiclass combo is brutal. "My familiar gives me the help action so I get advantage so I get sneak attack damage." OoRah!

ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY

I made breakfast for Cassie and I will make dinner for her tonight. Nothing too fancy. Just steak and mac and cheese. Sometimes you just need some comfort food. Like right now. After this episode of Critical Role that I didn't have the stability to watch the first time around.

WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND

It is hard to watch media sometimes. Coming from an abusive background ... I don't know. Sometimes I get over-invested in a show and get kind of paralyzed by watching characters suffer. Which is ... weird. It's been getting worse of late. Perchance it is reflective of my anxiety.

All best,
