So my mechanic can't figure out why my car has a battery draw. They suggested I call the local dealership. So I did that and they can't squeeze me in until the first week of April. So ... I will let you know if my battery makes it that far. Or I'll start disconnecting it at night.
TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)
1. I am grateful ... ooph. I don't know today lol. I mean, I'm grateful for my mechanic's advice and their attempts to help me solve my issue, even if they couldn't ultimately do it, and it is technically their job to try, but still. They were nice and supportive about it.
2. On the subject of folks being nice and supportive even though it's their job, I am grateful for the folks at the eye doctor. They were super friendly and I'm getting new glasses for the first time since the pandemic started! My current glasses are scratched to high hell.
ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY
Cassie had her eyes tested today for new glasses, and I put in an order for a second pair. I've never had more than one pair of glasses at a time before and I am psyched to have indoor/outdoor glasses. And the 2nd pair is brown and looks very nice.
ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY
Well, visited the eye doctor this morning and dropped off my car at the mechanic. I made it to about 3 and zonked out hard so I ... don't know. There's always writing to do, but I feel pretty good about my day. Oh and I applied for another job just now. Busy day.
WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND
Uh. I stopped to ask myself what is on my mind and I felt the sudden urge to start crying. Mayhap it's been a rougher week than I thought. Which is fine, although I seem to have a lot of those. I'm keeping focused on stuff I can control, at the very least. What else can I do?
