3/25/2023, A Nausea Inducing Headache Blotting Out the Afternoon

Y'all, I have a brutal headache. I've had it all afternoon. I think it's from dehydration but I'm not sure. Either way I'm just about ready to fall back on Aspirin lol. Shit sucks. Otherwise, the day is going pretty okay. Walked, did chores, and all that good stuff.

TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)

1. This is going to be petty; I mentioned my blog to an old friend and said I was stuck on "WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND" and he immediately jumped to, "Your skull, scalp, and hair!" I can only roll my eyes so hard. But I'm getting better at recognizing and moving past mild irritations.

2. I am grateful, well, on the same front, I'm grateful for all this progress I've made because, until the age of 30, I had no real filters. Minor frustrations, annoyances, and irritations, all lived under my skin long enough to go fallow. It was not a fun way to live each day.

ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY

I put in my first job application utilizing the advice from my advocate in the gaming industry. She directed me toward QA testing which I hope I have a better chance of breaking into than my efforts so far. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY

I could get some writing done or send off another job application. But frankly, I think I really need to go take some Aspirin. I'll be right back ... okay, I'm back. Here's hoping that takes care of the problem. And if it does I can get to writing and applying for jobs.

WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND

I am melting. My house is angled just right so that during the afternoon my room jumps up about ten degrees. It is 37°F outside and I am broiling. The property managers once yelled at me for opening the window but unless they read this blog I doubt they'll ever know.

All best,
