Today is a new day, rather by definition. I'm feeling a lot better after a full night's sleep. Probably the best sleep I've had this past week, although according to my knockoff Fitbit my sleep score went down. Despite the numbers I'm going to count this as a win.

TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)

1. I am grateful for my wife. We had a tough conversation this morning about where things are heading. For me, it feels like I'm on my own on the job hunt even though she has dreams and aspirations outside of fast food. For her, she feels like she has to maintain until I find work. So... plz hire me.

2. I am grateful for CinemaTherapy. They're just wholesome Youtubers. They're so wholesome that I forgive them for their deep Mormonness (atheist living in Utah (please hire me so I can leave this state)). After EMDR yesterday I put them on and it actually helped me decompress.

ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY

Hmmn. After EMDR I was pretty raw. Still am. But one thing that went well is I took my car after my session and just ... drove up the canyon outside of town. Went for a little over 10 miles. Just wanted to settle myself. Decompress like I said. It's gorgeous up there. And peaceful.
ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY

Today is a chores day. Gots lot to do, but I think the main priority is to finish my last weekend project, which was to tear a bunch of books off my shelves and start sorting them for storage. I got burned out halfway through and they've been taking up a lot of space since then.

WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND

Oh, not much. Life keeps moving on and you take each day, one at a time. Still thinking about my chat with Madi yesterday. School feels so long ago now (six years) and I barely interact with anyone from those days. It was nice to be reminded how cool they were. The people, not the days. Those sucked and required therapy.

All best,
