I got five hours of sleep last night and I had a blood test first thing in the morning so I had to fast for 12 hours. So I'm all kinds of fried today. But hey, I put in a job application (alongside a thousand other folk) for Critical Role. Anxiety-inducing but I'm glad I did it.

TWO THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (SPECIFIC)

1. I am grateful for my alma mater's alumni career office continuing to help me out by looking at postings and applications. I know a lot of it by now but it never hurts to go over the basics. Just gotta keep knocking on the door, right?

2. I am grateful for one of my upcoming players. He's so excited he commissioned artwork of his character. That kind of excitement is so infectious. I can't wait to build a story with him and everyone else. I think we can do something cool.

ONE THING THAT WENT WELL DURING THE DAY

I took a nap. It was glorious.

ONE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY

So due to a scheduling snafu on my part I will be cutting my doctors visit very close to my therapy session. It's just a checkup to go over the results of a lab test so ... well, fingers crossed I don't have to book it out of there.

WHATEVER IS ON MY MIND

Oh, boy, not a lot and so much. I want to go sit on the front porch with my wife for a while because it's nice out. Gotta enjoy the weather, just kinda bask. Yeah, think I'm gonna leave it off there. Hope you folks have a lovely night.

All best,
Shane Zellow
